Incentives can be positive or negative. It is positive because it gives motivation to a person who is doing his job specially if he/she has quota. incentive is an effective motivational factor to speed up given task. On the other side, it can be negative, because a person will do his assigned task because he/she has given incentives, He/she might not focusing on the given task. He/she is doing his/her job because of reward, what if reward will be phase out, there might be a big chance that a person is not effective and efficient with his/her job anymore.
