Projectile motion is the motion of an object thrown near the surface of the earth producing where in the object being thrown exhibits a curved manner or path as it is only influenced by gravitational force alone.
An example of this is a cannon ball fired at 45° or simply throwing a ball above your head, the motion projected by the object thrown is projectile motion.
